About The Book
It is a story of a brave, uneducated, unpolished, and self-doubting female who grew up in a latchkey environment with other siblings and a single female parent. Surroundings so rigid that this parent could run the household like a tight ship. Marie ran away from home at age 15, never to return as a minor. It was from an early age, she believed she had a learning disability or just thought, “Am I dumb,” was the classification, as no one in the 70s understood ADHD, Anxiety, or depression. She believed she was from a specific team of parents. Turns out everything she thought she knew about the people she came from was false. She meets a wide range of demographics in all parts of the world, only to return to her home state and repeat the same mistakes over and over. She taps into the world of Killers, the Man of the Korn, who gives her the “Children of the Korn”. The gangsters, whom she clung to for that father image and acceptance she longed for. She can’t keep still, so she continues to jump from one state to another country, back home, to another state, and then wash, rinse, and repeat. She finds herself in that hamster wheel that she despises.
Dive deep into a world reminiscent of the 1980’s classic, Scarface (copyright), where our heroin overcomes obstacles involving heartbreak, addiction, and turmoil, to form a life of success and growth in this Multi-book series that expresses the author’s life story in a tale of drugs, gangsters and elegance in wisely made bad decisions.
There is also a book for teenagers:
